Paddy's Whiskers own a full high quality Public Address(PA)/Sound Reinforcement system which is available for hire. This system is purpose designed to amplify live acoustic music, but is also ideal for other bands, DJs and parties.
Up to 1.6KW front of house sound is available, through high quality active RCF speakers. 600 watts of monitoring is provided through active Wharfedale wedge monitors.
We have a twenty channel mixing desk, with onboard reverb and other effects, plus a Peavey Feedback Suppressor which enables acoustic instruments to be amplified to high volume without feedback problems.
Please note that our PA system is always accompanied by our own sound engineer, although we will be happy to work with your sound crew to ensure you get the mix you are looking for.
Multi-channel live audio recording is available, if you want to capture the gig, using Apple Mac based recording technology and an 18 channel firewire audio interface. Andrew and Jules have also produced a number of videos of live music events, so If you want a DVD of your band's performance to get you more gigs or to give to your Granny, then why not contact us.
