Paul, Alex, Jules and Andrew are well seasoned folk musicians who between them play flute, fiddle, mandola, bodhran, banjo, whistles, mandolin, melodeon, guitar, and Highland and Northumbrian bagpipes (though not all at the same time....!).
Their full power style is perfect for pub gigs, festivals, weddings, parties, ceilidhs and barndances. If you like the music of the Pogues and the Dubliners then Paddy's Whiskers are for you.
A night with the Whiskers will include fast and furious Irish jigs and reels, melancholy Northumbrian pipe tunes, some highland mist and a wild rove through a selection of well known folk songs and sea shanties. If you want a ceilidh or barndance then we have a caller who can help you learn the steps as you party.
Throughout a Whiskers' show, audiences are encouraged to dance and sing along. Children are always fascinated by all the different musical instruments that the band play.
