We are delighted to announce that our new CD "Tales From Orient Road" is now available. You can get a copy here.
Andrew, Jules, Alex and Simon are well travelled musicians who play fiddle, mandola, bodhran, banjo, whistles, mandolin, bouzouki, bass guitar and guitar (though not all at the same time....!).
Paddy's Whiskers' full power contemporary style is perfect for pub gigs, festivals, weddings, parties, ceilidhs and barndances. If you like the music of the Pogues, the Bothy Band and the Chieftans then the Whiskers are for you.
A night with the Whiskers will include fast and furious Irish jigs and reels, melancholy slow airs, some highland mist and a wild rove through a selection of well known and less common folk songs. If you want a ceilidh or barn dance then we have a caller who can help you learn the steps as you party.
Throughout a Whiskers' show, audiences are encouraged to dance and sing along. Children are always fascinated by all the different musical instruments that the band play.
Andrew from the band is also a DJ, with a wide range of music to suit all tastes...the Whiskers can end the party with a great disco to keep all your guests dancing late into the night.
"Hi Paddy's Whiskers....just wanted to say how much we (and all our guests) enjoyed your entertainment on Saturday night. We really did have a great evening. Many thanks to you all." Peter and Sue Shaddick.
